How to join Qwest Energy
Joining Qwest Energy is easy, and you can do it online or over the phone.
If you would like to switch your energy online, you just need to visit our Get a Quote page and give us some information about you and your energy usage. Grab a recent bill if you have one so we can give you a more accurate quote.

The entire switching process usually takes around 3 weeks, once you have provided us with your address and payment details.
As soon as you have provided us with your details to join, we will send you a friendly welcome pack. This covers details about the plan you have chosen and what is is likely to cost. You have 2 weeks to review this pack and tell us if you change your mind.
We then ensure we know the right meters for your home, and contact your old supplier to have your supply switched over. This is simple and there is not any interruption to your current gas or electricity supply.
We will inform you once we have a date for the switch-over and everything is ready. A few days before this happens, we'll request a meter reading from you which allows your old supplier to calculate your final bill, and tells us your starting meter reads.
Your account with us
To make things even easier, we offer an online account so you can access things like your account details and payment history, and submit meter readings. You can also view all previous bills and communications whenever you like, all with the knowledge that you are helping the environment if you choose to go paperless.
